On top of COVID-19, we are now faced with the quickly approaching flu season 😖!! A home remedy that I follow to fight off germs, prevent colds/flus OR ease cold/flu symptoms is the use of freshly extracted ginger juice. In addition to cooking, ginger juice is a nice touch to tea. Simply mix some honey with hot water and about 2 teaspoons of fresh ginger juice (or more if you prefer), and you have yourself a piping hot cup of delicious, homemade ginger tea. Ginger juice is not a cure-all, but may be helpful for relieving nausea or pain, improving digestion, soothing muscle pains and even lowering the risk of cancer.
